The full EWC library
Classification runs against the complete UK List of Waste, more than 850 EWC codes, and the AI suggests the right ones from a photo. You are not limited to a short preset list, so unusual or specialist waste is covered.
Hazardous waste
Hazardous waste is supported, including hazardous waste consignment notes and the consignee return on the relevant plan. POPs can be flagged as part of the record.
Containers
Skips, bins, bags, piles and the rest. You record the container type as part of the load, so the record reflects what actually arrived.
Mixed and multi-code loads: what about more than five waste types?
A single load often contains several waste types. DEFRA's integration accepts up to five EWC codes per waste item, so for anything more varied you simply add more than one waste item, each carrying up to five codes. In practice that means there is no real ceiling on how many waste types a single load can describe.
Kept current
LoadSnap maintains the EWC library and monitors DEFRA for changes, including any increase to the number of codes allowed per waste item, so you are always working to the current rules without having to track them yourself.
