LoadSnap is free to start and no card is needed. Paid plans are sized by how many loads you do a month and by which features you need. Carriers and receivers pay the same way: same plans, same load counts, same features.
Where the prices are
The current monthly and annual prices for every plan are on the pricing page. That page is always the up to date one, so it is worth going there rather than working from a figure written down somewhere else. Annual billing gives you two months free.
If you already pay for LoadSnap, you keep the price you signed up on when the published prices change.
What each plan is for
Starter, free. 10 loads a month, 5 AI classifications a month, 1 user, up to 2 vehicles and 2 drivers. Waste transfer notes and hazardous consignment notes as PDFs, waste code search, vehicle checks, a basic compliance dashboard, and DEFRA submission. For a sole trader getting started or anyone wanting to try it properly.
Trade. 25 loads a month, 1 user, up to 2 vehicles and 2 drivers. Built for tradespeople and mobile businesses who only carry the waste their own business produces: photograph the load, unlimited AI classification, the transfer note out of it, consignment notes, and a monthly summary for your accountant. It is deliberately not the commercial product, so there is no scheduling, no customers and no invoicing on it.
Pro. Choose 50, 150 or 250 loads a month. Up to 5 users, and unlimited vehicles and drivers. This is the commercial product: jobs, the scheduling calendar and map, driver check-in, digital signatures, quotes and invoicing, email and ad hoc submissions, Sage, Xero and QuickBooks export, MOT and tax from DVLA, the fuel finder, your own branding on documents and portals, and a dedicated account manager.
Business. Choose 500 or 1,000 loads a month. Unlimited users and jobs, plus route planning, contracts, season tickets, team chat, custom request forms, multi-site management, the producer portal, the read-only API and priority support.
Enterprise. Priced to the business. Everything in Business, plus unlimited loads, custom onboarding and an SLA, invoice billing and custom integrations. Talk to us.
What counts as a load
Your allowance is records a month, which means loads. Not customers, not vehicles, not jobs. Pick the plan that covers a busy month rather than an average one.
Drivers and weighbridge operatives do not use up a user. The user count is the people in the office. A firm with twenty drivers does not need twenty users.
Included on every plan
DEFRA submission is on every plan, including the free one. Compliance is a legal requirement, so we never put it behind a paywall and it is never an add-on.
Trial, billing and switching
Paid plans come with a 14 day free trial and no card is needed to start. Upgrades take effect straight away and are prorated, downgrades take effect at your next renewal, and you can cancel at any time. There are no setup fees. Your data is held in the UK and you can export it on any plan.
One separate cost to know about
Separate from your LoadSnap subscription, DEFRA charges its own fee for the Digital Waste Tracking service: £26 a year, paid upfront, for 12 months of access. It is charged per organisation on your DEFRA account and not per waste receiving site, so a company running six sites pays once. It is not due until the service becomes mandatory in October 2026. That money goes to DEFRA, not to LoadSnap.
