The tare / gross / net weighbridge workflow

How an operative weighs a vehicle in and out and captures a compliant receipt.

On the weighbridge, LoadSnap captures the gross and tare weights and works out the net automatically, then ties it to the carrier and the waste record.

The flow

  1. The driver shows the carrier's QR code — the site, customer, EWC and transfer note are already on screen.

  2. Weigh the loaded vehicle in (gross).

  3. After tipping, weigh the empty vehicle (tare). Net is calculated for you.

  4. Confirm and print the receipt — it carries a QR and tracking ID.

Rejected loads: If a load can't be accepted, record the rejection and reason at the gate. For hazardous waste this also feeds the consignee return.
