Operatives are the people who work on a receiving site, for example on the weighbridge. Used by receivers.
What it is
The records of your site staff, the operatives who log waste in at the gate. Receivers have back office staff and operatives, but unlike carriers they do not run drivers out on the road. Each role sees only the screens it needs, so an operative gets the weighbridge receipt form rather than collection capture.
Why it's there
You need to know who is logging receipts, and to give them their own access to do it. Operative records make that clean and accountable.
How it works
Add each operative and invite them to log in, including on a phone, to record receipts. At the gate the operative processes each vehicle: scans the carrier's code, weighs the vehicle in and out, and confirms the receipt on a single-page form built for speed, because a weighbridge handles many vehicles in a day. If a load cannot be accepted, the operative records the rejection and reason at the gate, and for hazardous waste this feeds the consignee return. Their activity is tracked against them in the record.
