How Events work in LoadSnap

Events is where carriers log road-side occurrences like accident reports and fuel expenses against drivers and vehicles. What it is, why it matters for a fleet, and how events are captured and stored.

Events is where carriers log things that happen out on the road, such as accidents and fuel expenses. Used by carriers.

What it is

A record of operational events tied to drivers and vehicles, for example an accident report or a fuel expense.

Why it's there

Running a fleet means things happen away from the job itself. Capturing them keeps a clear record for safety, cost and compliance, instead of paper notes and lost receipts. It is carrier-focused, because receivers do not run vehicles out on the road.

How it works

Drivers or the office log an event against the relevant driver or vehicle, with the detail and any photos. It is stored against that vehicle's record and history.
