How Stock and Assets works in LoadSnap

Stock and Assets is where carriers track skips, ro-ros and other containers. What it is, why container visibility decides what work you can accept, and how assets feed the Scheduler and update as they move.

Stock and Assets is where carriers track their containers, such as skips and ro-ros. Used by carriers.

What it is

A live record of your physical assets: how many skips, ro-ros and other containers you have, and where they are.

Why it's there

You can only take on work if you have a container free to do it. Tracking your stock gives you visibility over what can be booked and what cannot, and where everything is, so you do not promise a skip you have not got.

How it works

Your containers are tracked as assets and feed into the Scheduler, so when you book a job you can see what is available. A job might be a drop-off and a later pick-up, or just a pick-up for loose waste. Each movement updates where the asset is.
