LoadSnap can check your drivers' licences with the DVLA, so you can see whether a licence is valid, what a driver is entitled to drive and whether they have picked up points, without chasing photocopies.
It is in beta
Driver licence checking is an invite-only beta. It is switched on for a small group of carriers at a time, so it will not be on your account until you ask for it.
Go to Settings and then Driver Licence Check. If you do not have it yet, the page says so and there is a Request beta access button. Click it and we will be in touch once it is approved. The page then shows Request pending until then.
Once it is on
Each driver enters their own licence number and gives their consent. An employer cannot check a licence without it, so that step cannot be skipped.
You choose how often the checks repeat, and LoadSnap runs them on that schedule rather than you remembering.
The result sits on the driver's record, and an expired or disqualified licence is flagged there.
What it costs
It is £2.99 per consenting driver per month, excluding VAT, and that covers the DVLA's own charge for each check. Only drivers who have given consent and entered a licence number are charged, so a driver who has not signed up costs you nothing.
