A receiving site is a permitted site that takes waste in. If you receive waste, your site is the heart of your LoadSnap setup. This covers adding your own site, and keeping an eye on the sites you send waste to.
Your receiving site
When you set up as a receiver you add your site with its name, permit or licence number, address and type, such as a transfer station, MRF, landfill or treatment facility. This appears on your receipts and forms part of the DEFRA record.
Adding a site from the register, or by hand
You can pull a site's details from the public register, or add it manually if it is not listed.

How receivers work day to day
Receivers do not plan inbound deliveries the way carriers plan jobs. Trucks arrive and your operative processes them at the gate. So a receiver works from Receipts rather than Jobs, using the weighbridge receipt form. See The receiver workflow and The tare, gross, net weighbridge workflow.
Sites you send waste to
The receiving sites you send waste on to are monitored on your compliance dashboard, which checks their permit status and flags any enforcement actions, so you are not sending waste to a site that has lost its permit.
Sending waste abroad
A receiver can arrange an international export without becoming a carrier. You create an outbound movement, set the transfer type to international, and complete the Annex VII details with the appointed carrier and the overseas facility.
