How the Inbox works in LoadSnap

The Inbox is where field-captured loads arrive as drafts for review and approval. What it is, why the review step matters, how loads come in via the driver portal, ad hoc capture and email, and why Inbox items are completed work rather than jobs.

The Inbox is where waste photos from the field arrive for you to review and approve. Used by carriers.

What it is

A review queue. Loads captured in the field land here as draft records with the AI's suggestions, ready for you to check and approve before they go anywhere.

Why it's there

Capture in the field should be quick and forgiving, but nothing should be filed without a check. The Inbox gives you that middle step: drivers capture, the office reviews, then it is approved.

How a load comes in

There are a few routes. A driver can log into the driver portal, pick the job and take a photo, which the AI classifies. They can use ad hoc capture for unplanned work, extra waste found on site, or a one-off. You can also forward documents to your LoadSnap submit email address, which are matched to the sender. All of them produce the same thing: a draft in the Inbox.

How the Inbox works

A submission lands marked as needing review. You open it, see the photo and the AI's suggestions, fill in anything missing such as the customer, site, destination and weight, and approve. It then appears in your Loads list.

Inbox items are completed work, not jobs

An Inbox submission is work that has already happened, the waste is collected, so it does not become a job. A job is a plan for future work, while an Inbox item is the record of work done.
