A season ticket is one waste transfer note that covers repeated collections of the same waste, from the same place, to the same place, for up to a year. It is the legal alternative to writing a note for every single load.
If you empty the same bin at the same factory every Tuesday, this is what stops that being fifty two pieces of paper.
How to do it
Open the contract the regular work sits on. The producer and the receiver on the ticket come from that contract, and all three parties have to stay the same for every collection it covers.
Click Season ticket, either on the card down the right hand side of the contract or in the "..." menu at the top.
Under Coverage window, set the start and end dates. Twelve months from the start is the most the law allows, and LoadSnap will refuse anything longer.
Under Waste covered, write one waste description that fits every load, and add at least one EWC code. There is an optional container type as well, for example 1100L bin or 8yd skip.
Under Covered collection sub-sites, tick the specific places on the customer's site the waste comes from. At least one is needed, and the list is fixed once the ticket exists.
Click Create season ticket.
Check the ticket preview, then sign it under Sign on behalf of the carrier. Type your name, sign, and click Submit carrier signature.
The producer signs their half from their own producer portal, where the ticket shows on the contract with a Review and sign button. The Signatures panel on your side tells you who has signed and when, and View PDF gives you the ticket itself.
Worth knowing
Season tickets are for non-hazardous waste only. Hazardous loads need a consignment note every time, no exceptions.
If what you are collecting changes, or the customer adds a yard, the season ticket no longer covers it. Write a new one rather than stretching the description or the sub-site list.
You cannot have two live tickets covering the same producer and receiver over the same dates. End the old one or shorten the window before you create the new one.
A ticket that is not signed by both sides is not doing its job, so chase the signature rather than filing it half done.
Season tickets are not available on the Trade tier. Trade operators move waste from whatever job they are on that day to whichever tip they pass, so the same producer, same receiver, same waste rules do not hold and each movement gets its own note.
